How You Can Help

1. Donate money toward the annual $1,000 local merit scholarships for deserving JROTC and ROTC cadets going directly into the military after graduation to help cadets purchase items needed as they begin their military careers. The foundation will continue a relationship with these enlisted cadets throughout their military careers and beyond.

Currently, Gibbs High School JROTC in Corryton, TN; The University of Tennessee ROTC in Knoxville, TN; Gibbs High School JROTC in St. Petersburg, FL, Union County High School in Maynardville, TN;  Seminole High School in Seminole, Florida; Fairview High School in Fairview, TN; Red Bank High School in Red Bank, TN will be receiving these annual gifts. Upcoming participating JROTC high schools will be Barbers Hill Independent School District in Mont Belvieu, TX; Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville, NC; possibly another high school in Fayetteville, NC

More schools across the nation will be added to the list as individual and corporate donations are given.  Simply click on R2Factor Donate Tab at the top of the page to help make a difference.

2. Advertise on our foundation website to “rent” your vacation home twice a year or more for free to active military families needing rest and relaxation across the nation. Vacation home owners should seek financial counsel for tax deduction allowances.  Please chose the Contact Us at the top of the foundation website to let us know about your vacation rental that will be listed under the Vacation Opportunities.  Military personnel can choose the Contact Us tab at the top of the website page to coordinate a free R & R rental when available during the year at the owner’s discretion.

In addition, military care boxes for those troops deployed overseas will be sent out throughout the year as needed through our foundation and others.  You can donate a one time gift or consider a monthly gift to help us pay supplies and shipping which average in cost around $50-$75 per military carebox.

3. Sponsor a veteran for a $100 tax-deductible gift to the foundation to fish, enjoy lunch, and receive encouraging counsel from local organizations that support veteran mental health and well-being.  Please us the Donate tab at the top of R2Factor website page to help.  You can also use the Contact Us tab to let us know if you would like to participate.

4. Volunteer to help at R2Factor events across the nation.  Please sign up by choosing the Contact Us website page for more details.  We are currently serving in the states of Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, and Iowa.  Our ultimate goal is to spread across the nation with other military organizations making a difference one hero at a time.
